NLE JUNIOR TRIATHLON PROGRAM

Are you a junior athlete or guardian of a junior athlete aged 8 - 18 who want’s to spend more time swim/ride/running? NLE JDP (No Limits Endurance Junior Development Program) is what you have been waiting for. Run by head coach Ailie Coulter who is a qualified teacher and Triathlon Australia Coach, you know your child will be in good hands. Places are limited, register your interest now so that you don’t miss out!

Development Beginner - 8 years and above

Development Beginner’s (DB) are super keen to see what Triathlon is all about and tend to have no prior experience in Triathlon. At this level the focus is on fun, health, fitness and exposure to and immersion in the sport of Triathlon. Development Beginners will have the option to attend two sessions per week.

10 week program.

Development Intermediate - 10 years and over

Development Intermediate (DI) athletes have some sporting background in swimming, riding and/or running or past immersion in the sport of triathlon. (generally through a family member) The Development Intermediate Athlete will take a more triathlon specific focus to their health and fitness with the aim to prepare them for participation in events. DI Athletes will complete 3-4 sessions per week

10 week program.

Development Performance - 10 years and over

Development Performance (DP) athletes are interested in competing in the sport of triathlon and further developing their triathlon fitness and knowledge This is the highest level of program on offer and athletes will follow a weekly program with progressive training load. This program will include personal development and goal setting and sessions to help incorporate triathlon into the junior athlete’s life and ensure balance is achieved between school, social, other sporting commitments, family and health. Development Performance Athletes will attend 3-4 sessions per week with additional programmed session in their own time.

Face to face during school term.

All participants will receive a starter pack with lots of goodies to get them started and keep them going on their triathlon journey.
